Decision path: what does the question hand you?
Negative marking on the multiple choice (points are subtracted for a wrong answer): +0.5 correct, −0.25 wrong, 0 blank. Answering pays whenever your probability of being right beats one in three, because p(0.5) + (1−p)(−0.25) > 0 holds exactly when p > 1/3.
On a true or false item a coin flip already has positive expected value (the average score over many such guesses): 0.5(+0.5) + 0.5(−0.25) = +0.125. Never leave a true or false item blank.
Nine minutes per point in both halves: 180 minutes, 20 points. A one point item that has eaten twelve minutes is a loss already; mark it, move on, come back.
The ring counts sections you marked read. Tier pills read core / likely / foundation / context, 255 tiered sections over 793 deck pages. A chapter with a paler card is one whose previous gate is still open. Everything stays clickable: the gate is a nudge, not a wall.
How to use the pack. Every chapter section carries a tier badge. EXAM CORE means a real exam question or a drilled exercise archetype (a shape of exercise that repeats across sessions) tests it. EXAM LIKELY means lecturer emphasis and property material. FOUNDATION supports the core. CONTEXT is read once.
The Focus button in each chapter hides foundation and context. Click a heading to fold it. Click a badge to see the evidence behind the label. Embedded exam questions are clickable and tell you right or wrong at once. Select any sentence to highlight it, or press h; every highlight and note lands on the notes page. Printing any chapter reveals every answer.
Ten of them, all live, each stepping an algorithm one move at a time and showing the data structure the exam asks you to write down. Every trace was machine verified against an independent reference implementation.
Highlights and notes every highlight and note you made, grouped by chapter and section, printable as a personal summary sheet.
The slide PDFs and the three printed volumes live in the Drive folder, not in this app: the app ships the chapters as pages you can read, search and annotate offline.
Three reading days, three drilling days, one exam. The drills overlap the paper pack on the 15th on purpose: build the paper from the mistakes the drills expose, not from the slides.
